STEPHEN graduated from Illinois State University with a B.S. in Business administration. He served in the U.S. Army and after returning from the military, he completed graduate studies in Marketing at Northern Illinois University. STEPHEN held various sales positions with Glenbrook Laboratories and Duracell USA, most notable, Key Account Manager, District Manager, National Accounts Manager, and Director of National Accounts. He created the National Accounts program for Glenbrook Laboratories and managed over $70 million in sales. In 1987 he joined DAVID FOCKLER & ASSOCIATES, INC. as a Partner responsible for recruitment of Sales and Marketing Management professionals for the consumer products industry. STEPHEN distinguished himself by taking on difficult assignments for very selective clients and helped increase company revenues by 53% during his tenure. In 1990, STEPHEN founded Ad Activity Marketing Services, Inc., a marketing research company supplying competitive retail advertising information to consumer product companies. He continued to function as a Partner for DAVID FOCKLER & ASSOCIATES, INC. until 1993 when he decided to devote all of his time to running Ad Activity Marketing Services, Inc.

In January, 1998 after divesting all interests in Ad Activity Marketing Services, Inc., STEPHEN returned to DAVID FOCKLER & ASSOCIATES, INC. as a Partner to resume his responsibilities focusing on the search and selection of Sales and Marketing Management professionals for the consumer products industry.

STEPHEN is married, and maintains a home and an office in a suburb of Chicago, IL. He has two children, both pretty much on their own. He is a strong believer in the necessity of both mental and physical conditioning and confesses to an affinity for golf.
